Phosphorus-deoxidised 8 % tin bronze. High elasticity, fatigue resistance and wear resistance; the classic material for springs and sliding bearings.

03Delivery Condition
- Rod (R≥ 420 MPa) and strip; hardness according to temper.
04Heat Treatment
Typical values
- Hardening
- Not hardenable by heat treatment; strength by temper (cold work)
- Homogenising / softening
- 500–675 °C; air cool
- Stress relieving
- 200–300 °C, 1–2 h
- Delivery condition
- Cast or drawn; hardness according to temper
