440B Stainless Steel

1.4112

  • EN1.4112
  • ENX90CrMoV18
  • AISI440B

Martensitic stainless steel with high hardenability and wear resistance. Provides good resistance to oxidation and corrosion and is suitable for elevated-temperature service. Its good machinability makes it suitable for CNC machining, milling and other mechanical processing. Magnetic.

01Applications

  • Knives and cutting tools that must be stainless
  • Screws and heads in plastics processing machinery
  • Injection mold nozzles
  • Knives and machine parts in the food industry, cutting applications
  • Razor blades, surgical instruments, dental instruments and other cutting tools

02Delivery Condition

  • 54–60 HRC
