HS10-4-3-10 High Speed Steel

1.3207

  • EN1.3207
  • ENHS10-4-3-10

High speed steel with high cobalt and tungsten content, in the highest hot hardness class. Used for heavy-duty machining of hard and high-strength materials.

01Material Properties

  • Very high hot hardness and tempering resistance
  • High wear resistance
  • Low toughness; care in interrupted cutting
  • Heat treated to 66–68 HRC

02Applications

  • Milling cutters for hard and heat-resistant materials
  • Heavy roughing lathe tools
  • High-performance drills and reamers
  • Cold forming and extrusion tools

03Delivery Condition

  • Max. 302 HB, soft annealed.
