M35 High-Speed Steel

1.3243

  • EN1.3243
  • ENHS6-5-2-5
  • AISIM35

High-speed steel containing 5% cobalt. Retains its hardness at high temperatures; thanks to the cobalt content it is preferred over 1.3343 for high-speed cutting operations. Suitable for wire EDM, welding, PVD and CVD coating.

01Applications

  • All milling cutters requiring high performance
  • Drills exposed to high stresses
  • Shear blades
  • Profile cutting knives
  • Machining of high-strength materials
  • Broaches
  • Hobs

02Delivery Condition

  • 60–64 HRC
