Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-vanadium mold steel with uniform through-hardening in large sections and high toughness. Used pre-hardened for large plastic molds, die holders and forging dies.

03Delivery Condition
- Pre-hardened 360–410 HB; soft annealed on request (max. 250 HB).

- Hardening
- 840–880 °C; oil/air
- As-quenched hardness
- ≈ 56–58 HRC
- Tempering
- 500–650 °C → 36–45 HRC
- Nitriding
- 500–530 °C
